年轻的奥地利陶艺家 Michael Widhalm，以陶瓷大师认证的扎实功底为基，在传统与现代的审美碰撞中开辟了独特路径。他毕业于斯托布陶瓷学院，将经典功能性器皿的传统形制与当代设计的简约美学相融，以标志性的螺旋造型和自主研发的独特釉料为核心表达，在社交媒体收获 4.67 万粉丝青睐，成为新生代陶艺家中传统工艺创新的代表。

Young Austrian ceramic artist Michael Widhalm has laid a solid foundation with his Certified Ceramic Master qualification and blazed a unique path amid the aesthetic collision between tradition and modernity. Graduating from the Stöbich Ceramic College, he integrates the traditional forms of classic functional utensils with the minimalist aesthetics of contemporary design. Centered on his iconic spiral motifs and independently developed unique glazes, his works have gained the favor of 46,700 followers on social media, making him a representative of traditional craft innovation among the new generation of ceramic artists.

三宝蓬美术馆：请简要描述你的艺术风格的起源和特点以及在陶艺方面的心得体会。

Please briefly describe the origin and characteristics of your artistic style, as well as your insights and experiences in the field of pottery.

Michael Widhalm：我的艺术风格融合了传统形制与现代审美。

我既使用炻器土也运用瓷土进行创作，作品涵盖经典实用器皿，也包括精致的当代风格设计。创作中最关键的一环是研发专属釉料，这让我能打造独特的表面肌理与色彩基调，与每一系列作品相得益彰。

拉坯创作中，我既注重精准度，也乐于尝试创新。除了经典造型，我还热衷于探索非传统技法，突破材料的局限，发掘塑形与收尾的新方式。我擅长稳定产出作品，同时始终注重细节把控。

我处事灵活、善于沟通，始终愿意在分享自身专业经验的同时向他人学习。我珍视与他人协作所迸发的创作活力，并积极为高效互助的工作室氛围添砖加瓦。

My artistic style blends traditional forms with a modern aesthetic.

I work with both stoneware and porcelain, creating pieces that range from classic functional ware to refined, contemporary designs. A key part of my practice is developing my own glaze,which allows me to craft unique surface textures and color palettes that complement each body of work

In wheel-throwing, I enjoy both precision and experimantation. Alongside classic forms,I love exploring unconventional techniques, pushing the limits of the material and discoveringnew ways to shape und finish my pieces.I m comfortable producing consistent work, while maintaining attention to detail.

I'm flexible, communicative and always open to learning from others while contributing my own expertiseI value the creative energy that comes from working with others and contribute actively to a productive,supportive studio atmosphere.

三宝蓬美术馆：本次展览你作品的核心艺术理念是如何结合拉坯技法而创作的？

How did you combine the core artistic concept of your works in this exhibition with the technique of throwing on the potter's wheel?

Michael Widhalm：我的拉坯技法植根于传统，却通过实验不断被重新诠释.。

My throwing techniques are grounded in tradition,but constantely reinterpreted through experimentation.

三宝蓬美术馆：通过本次景德镇工作营你对景德镇的陶瓷传统文化有什么新的理解？

What new understanding of Jingdezhen's traditional ceramic culture has you gained through this Jingdezhen workshop?

Michael Widhalm：我十分推崇景德镇在制瓷领域的精湛工艺与深厚底蕴，这座城市早已列入我的旅行清单。

I admire Jingdezhen's precision and history inPorcelain. It is a city I have on my travel list for a long time.

What innovative directions can be identified through this exhibition?

As a new generation of ceramic artists, Michael Widhalm has proven the contemporary vitality of traditional ceramic art with his craft accumulation and aesthetic vision beyond his years. He has laid a solid foundation with his Certified Ceramic Master qualification, created core features through spiral motifs and glaze research and development, found a perfect balance between function and art, and brought traditional craftsmanship to young audiences through social media. In the future, with the deepening of his creations, this young Austrian ceramic artist will surely shine more brightly on the path of integrating tradition and modernity, practicality and art.
